A Disappointment - 2

Oh No it is a DISAPPOINTMENT POST!!!

I really don't like posting about the products I dislike but I love the idea that I am inform you guys on the pros and cons of different things. 

This post is really upsetting me because it is about a LUSH product! I love LUSH so much and whenever I see a store I have to go in. I never thought I would find a LUSH product I would A) dislike and B) dislike so much I would want to blog about it. 

BIG SOLID CONDITIONER! 

I love the BIG sea salt shampoo and it was because of this I was very excited to try the solid condition. It has a similar smell to the shampoo, very fresh and clean - sadly that is where the good points end. This product is very hard to use, the instructions say to 'Stroke your hair' with it but I found it almost impossible to get any of the product on to my hair. It took a lot of hard work and pulling of my hair to get even a small amount on my roots. Already unimpressed I began to work the product into me hair. Once out of the shower I was able to feel how dry my hair was, I styled as I do normally and once finished my hair felt dry and flat - It just looked unhealthy! It also did not do my hands any good, I am not sure whether it was the product itself or all the hard rubbing I had to do to get it on my hair but my hands felt dry and tight for about a day or so after I had used it. 

This product was such a disappointment but my love for LUSH is still strong! 

Have any of you lovely people tried this condition? What do you think?

Hello there lovely people! 

I think it is time you knew a little bit about the girl be hide the blog, so here we go...

1) Is your hair naturally curly or straight?

I have bi-polar hair! It is very long and thick, dark Brown and has a mind of its own. Some days I will wake up with pretty straight hair, other days it will be straight with sightly curly ends and then some days I have full on messy curlyness (if that even a word!). So the answer to this question would be... I am not to sure. 

2) Do you dye your hair?

The colour of my hair (dark brown) is my natural color. I have only dyed my hair once when I was about 12 and wanted to rebel a bit against my parents -I dyed it red and it ended so badly my mum had to fix it

 (so much for being a rebel).

3) What is your style?

I have no idea! 

4) Do you do your own mani or go to a salon?

I bite my nails so I am to embarrassed to go to a salon to get them done - so I do then myself.  

5) How often do you change your nail polish?

About every other day! I own a lot of nail polish and the only way I am able to justify owning the amount I do to my family (and myself) is by changing a lot. 

6) Do you paint your toes in the winter or just in the summer?

My toes are painted all year round.

7) How long does it take you to put on make-up?

About 15 minutes on a normal day.

8) Do you wear a full face of make-up everyday?

Nope, some days a full face of make up is just not needed!

9) Will you leave the house without make-up?

Yep, do proud in your own skin!!!

10) How often do you change your handbag?

A lot!!! I have a thing of handbags, if I see a pretty one I have to have it.

11) What time do you get up and go to sleep?

I get up at 7:30 and try to be asleep by 11 but it is usually later.

12) How often do you work out?

2 hours 4 times a week.

13) Left handed or right?

Right

14) How tall are you?

5'4

15) Do you speak any foreign languages?

Nope - I wish I did!

16) How often are you on blogger?

Not as much I wish I could be but I am trying to change that.

17) Do you have a wish list of products?

Yep and it is about 3 miles long.

18) How often do you clean your house?

I go around picking things up, sorting things out, dusting a couple of times a week. I do a big clean on Saturday mornings.

19) What is your favorite colour?

PINK!!!

20) Do you swear?

It is bad and I really shouldn't but I do!

21) What are you doing the rest of the day? 

Lots of blogging to make up for lost time.

It has almost run out.... HELP!!!

I am very upset right now because I have just seen that one of my all time favorite products is about to 

(well pretty much has) run out and as my last post was all about Lipsticks I am keeping with that theme...

 As you can see my Lancome Rouge A Levres Attraction has been well loved and well used. As one of my first high end lipsticks I have loved this for a long time (you could most likely tell that by the state of the packaging). 

The colour, Rose Impulsion is my perfect colour, a beautiful shade of pink with a small amount of shimmer making it perfect for both day time and evening. It is not to heavy on the lips and the colour lasts for a long time.

The packaging (although now a little worse for where) was also beautiful and classy and it made me smile whenever I pulled it out of my make up bag. Sadly Lancome discontinued this line of lipstick and I have yet to find a colour that matches it in any of there current lipstick collections - sad face!

Love love love this pink/rose colour - my everyday lipstick!
Shiny finish and feels lovely on your lips - not to heavy, a light layer goes a long way.
Can be used with a day time or night time look.
Lasts a good length of time.

£7.99 from Boots - Lovely price tag for such a lovely product.

No.3 The Wild Card
Not a shade people expect me to love - But I do!
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick - 535 Rum Raisin

I am not really a darker lipstick kinda girl, but this beautiful rum colour is one of my favorites!
It is very much a night time colour and looks amazing with a thin layer of clear gloss on top.
Like all over Revlon lipstick it has a lovely smooth, glossy finish and lasts for at least a good 4/5 hours.

My favorite lipsticks change a lot so there is deffo going to be an updated version soon.
